GoPro has announced plans to sell a new, lower-priced version of its popular camera just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The new GoPro Hero+, on sale next month at $199, will connect via Wi-Fi to computers as well as mobile devices.
That version of the GoPro, priced in between its basic $130 action camera and its $299 version, could attract a new crop of gadget lovers — and holiday shoppers — looking for a more affordable GoPro, still beefed up enough with features to appeal to more tech lovers.
